Mission
CEE recognizes the gap between need and capacity and exists to address EM challenges. The center therefore works to reshape the landscape for economic policy research in 'developing countries'. CEE fills the lack of a research organization dedicated to centralizing, curating, and complimenting EM economic development research done in developed economies and the work done at country-specific research organizations.
Vision
Emerging markets are home the world's future demographic drivers as the most pervasive, persistent, and complex public sector challenges despite lacking the budgetary resources of richer peers. We seek to tap into this capacity and help solve some of these problems by encouraging more cross-regional comparisons, readily accessible data and training resources for policymakers, and a more research done on understudied fields and countries
